You never know when a random idea that has no application now might be a game changer later on. Keep a log of all your ideas in a place where you can easily go back and find and add to them, whether that’s a dedicated notebook, or a file on your com- puter. Over time this may become an inspiring source of innovation. At the very least it will make a fascinating collection to look back over.
